About the Award

Established in 2019, the Charlotte Forten Legacy Award is presented to those groups or individuals who best exemplify a legacy of commitment to the mission and purpose of 51³Ô¹Ï.

Criteria

Each recipient must have attained notable achievement through contributions to 51³Ô¹Ï in his or her professional, philanthropic or voluntary endeavors. Chosen at the discretion of the awards committee of the 51³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association and Foundation.*
