Parking

51�Թ� has permitted parking areas available on each of its five campuses. All vehicles parked on university property must be properly permitted. Parking permit decals will be available for purchase online through your Navigator or Polaris account beginning in August each year.

University Police is located on Central Campus, near Marsh Hall. For any parking-related questions, please email parking@salemstate.edu. Emails are answered during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm.
The Parking Office is closed on weekends and holidays.

General Information

All motor vehicles must be legally registered and insured to operate or park on 51�Թ� property. Failure to comply may result in your vehicle or motorcycle being ticketed or towed or both.

All persons parking on 51�Թ� property do so at their own risk. 51�Թ� is not responsible for theft or damage to your vehicle. Lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in plain view. Designated parking areas are for authorized and permitted parking only with limited exceptions for special events.

Vehicles that are not parked within the designated permit area are subject to ticketing and towing. In an effort to ensure compliance with the university parking regulations, the university police department has added dedicated parking enforcement officers.
